Tijdens het krokuskamp lieten we ons inspireren door carnaval en carnavalsmaskers. Na een gesprek met de kinderen over identiteit, maakten ze zelf een tekst over hoe je zelf kan sturen wie je bent. Samen met singer songwriter Matt Watts en zangeres Luna Maes creëerden ze hun eigen lied ‘It’s gotta be me’.
De kinderen konden ook hun creatief ei kwijt in een aantal knutselsessies met maskers. Met al deze mooie resultaten, schitterden de deelnemers van het kamp op het podium van Ha Concerts tijdens het kinderfestival ‘Here Comes The Sun’.
Naast dit toonmoment, waren er op dit kinderfestival ook tal van muzikale workshops, een kinder DJ, grime en een knutseltafel. Het was opnieuw een onvergetelijk kinderfeest met een ode aan de muziek.
